free consultation
Whether it be for a new home or remodel, the Steege Construction team offers a free consultation. Either meeting at the home or the showroom we walk through our process in detail. Our team of interior designers & project managers will help design your custom floor plan, pick out materials, show you a couple of our homes, and prepare an estimate all as part of the free consultation. This usually takes 2-3 meetings.
4-6 WEEKS
2. DIVE IN DEEPER
After both parties agree on the project and contract, Steege Construction’s interior designers really dive into project planning. Site meetings with sub-contractors take place, construction plans get drawn, and materials start to get ordered with the project being scheduled. During this time, clients will get financing in place before the project is started.

3. Let’s build
Construction starts with the excavation of the land, pouring the foundation and then framing of the project. Next is the plumbing, mechanical, and electrical rough-in, followed by insulation and drywall. After the house or remodel is painted, the fun part really begins when you can see the ideas come to life with cabinets, flooring, and trim all finishing up! Depending on the size of the project, site location, and time of year, the timeline can fluctuate. The Steege team will help guide you throughout the build with an estimated timeframe. Showroom and site meetings with the clients will take place as needed.
4. MOVE IN & WARRANTY
After the Steege Construction team puts the finishing touches on the project, and the contract is fulfilled by both parties, clients are able to move into their completed project. Our overall goal is to keep our client’s priorities in mind, and hope to one day be able to show their recently completed home to other prospective clients. We will officially welcome you HOME!
